Python Fundamentals and Estimation with RMSP: Denver Workshop

Following the Perth workshop, "Python Fundamentals and Estimation with RMSP" came to Denver, Colorado, from May 5 to 9, 2025, led by Madi Bzdok and Eric Daniels.

The workshop suits resource modeling professionals who are new to Python, want to advance their modeling knowledge, or want to automate existing workflows with scripting. Lectures, software demonstrations and hands-on sessions take participants from Python basics to building and validating complete estimation workflows:

• Day 1: Introduction to Python, Jupyter Notebooks and essential data science packages
• Day 2: Data visualization in Python and introduction to RMSP
• Day 3: Resource modeling workflow setup and exploratory data analysis
• Day 4: Variogram calculation and modeling
• Day 5: Estimation and validation
